The United States Federal Chaplain Service - the Chaplain Corps of the Emergency Response Command Administration Joint Operations

The USFCS is a volunteer (no payment for services at all) association of Federal Chaplains, meaning our Chaplains are Chaplains who already work for or are part of a Federal agency.  However, we are branching out to local and state law enforcement and fire department Chaplains as well – in the capacity of ‘associate members’.

This new group will be part of our association, but not appointed as a Federal Chaplain unless they are a federal employee or agent.

Chaplains who are not Federal agents or employees can apply to be associate members of the USFCS and part of the U.S. Chaplain network, but not a Federal Chaplain.

Our associate Chaplains receive an I.D. card stating they are part of the USFCS associate member program.  The card also clearly states that you are not a Federal Chaplain, but part of the U.S. Chaplain network of Chaplains from local and state agencies.

We are a fraternal organization of existing Federal Chaplains.   When an agency needs resources, we assist in finding Chaplains within our network to meet the need.  Our associate program will increase the number of volunteer chaplains in a given area when need arises.

The U.S. Federal Chaplain Service strives to be one of the nation’s primary service corps responding to a variety of incidents and emergencies in local and national events.

U.S. Chaplains have served as the instruments of response by all three branches of the U.S. government
and several local and state agencies including Military, DEA, US Marshalls, Police, Sheriff, and Fire.
